Perspectives on Social Media Marketing 1. Understanding the Process of Marketing             The thing that really made me understand how companies have successful social media campaigns is listening to the consumers and what they can improve on or fix. It’s also about getting the word out - What is your company’s message? What are they trying to promote? How will the consumers react? You have to pay a lot of attention to this because you’ll know if your business will be successful or not but how consumers react to your brand.                    2. Knowing the Difference Between Professionalism and Being Personal             For me, personally, it wasn’t hard knowing the difference on how to act with a company profile and a personal profile because you should act the same o...
'Smells like Happiness:' Spring has sprung at MAM's Art in Bloom Google Alerts: 'Smells like Happiness:' Spring has sprung at MAM's Art in Bloom           Spring is the literal definition of Happiness. Once you get out of the cold snowy months and get that first spring breeze, it makes you happy for the spring and summer season right? Well in this article, this is what they were trying to get through but by mixing flowers and art together. It's pretty cool that exhibits like this exist! This is what everyone needs after a long winter.
Leechburg Area Students will turn food into art for Eat Your Art Out fundraiser Google Alert story: Leechburg Area Students will turn food into art for Eat Your Art Out fundraiser     After checking my Google notifications for a good minute or two, I saw this story and I was immediately interested. The summary of this story is students from sixth grade to twelveth grade participated in this fundraiser using food. Some of the projects involved was a stain glass window like the one in Beauty and the Beast, some Star Wars designs, and lots more. It's a great story and a great idea other schools should look into doing!
Public Restroom: A Bathroom Reimaged as a Town Square Using Custom-Printed Tiles Inoreader story: link here.           Can you imagine using a bathroom and you see tiles of people and apartment buildings around you? It would make you uneasy a little bit, right? Well when reading this, it looked pretty cool to see, I thought it was a glass looking out onto the apartment buildings but it wasn't. It's amazing how much technology has improved because now we get custom-printed tiles! After reading this article, I definitely want my bathroom to look like this. It makes me feel like I'm in the heart of Brooklyn and I love it.
Graffiti Art Exhibition Aims To Go "Beyond The Streets"  Google Alert Story: Graffiti Art Exhibition Aims To Go "Beyond The Streets"      When I got the notification about this story, I had to click on it. I think street art is really cool and almost inspiring because you don't need to be a fancy artist to do it. Just a few cans of spray paint and that's it. Although it's very much illegal, I think it's a good way for people who don't have access to express their art like most people can. Some street artists put their own tag on their art so other street artists or people passing by knows who made it. What I like most about this story is the fact that they're giving street artists a chance to express themselves without having to get into any legal trouble. It's not only a creative release but also good networking connections. The reason why I say networking connections is because they have an option for you to take selfies (for...
CUDDLY PUGS MAKING AN IMPACT! Inoreader story: Long live the Pug: Cuddly canine gets their own exhibition.      What's really interesting to see here in this story is, how they use dogs. Everyone loves dogs and they know people would come to the exhibit to see a cute dog who was meant to be by the side of the Emperor of China 2,000 years ago! Personally, since I own two dogs myself, it was great to see that this is not only a positive event but also an informing one as well. While you're looking around at these cute dogs that are meant to put a smile on your face, they are also there so you can learn their history.
CHANGING THE WORLD FOR THE BETTER WITH ART! Google Alerts story:  Endia Beal makes art to inspire and give voice to the voiceless        What Art Changing is about is impacting the world with positivity involving art. Just by looking at the title of this story you can see that Endia Beal makes art to encourage others and speaks for people who can't. First reading this, I thought she made art and spoke out for the people who couldn't speak due to health issues. That's not the case at all, she made art for her friend who died and wanted to bring his talent out to the world even if he couldn't do it himself. She wants to encourage other's to go after what they want and to give back to her community which is inspiring in itself as a society we don't really give back to our communities when they have given so much to us.
