Graffiti Art Exhibition Aims To Go "Beyond The Streets"

When I got the notification about this story, I had to click on it. I think street art is really cool and almost inspiring because you don't need to be a fancy artist to do it. Just a few cans of spray paint and that's it. Although it's very much illegal, I think it's a good way for people who don't have access to express their art like most people can. Some street artists put their own tag on their art so other street artists or people passing by knows who made it. What I like most about this story is the fact that they're giving street artists a chance to express themselves without having to get into any legal trouble. It's not only a creative release but also good networking connections. The reason why I say networking connections is because they have an option for you to take selfies (for those who don't know what selfies are, they are photos you take of yourself), when those photos are released on the internet, people will see what you've made and possibly ask you to make them personalize art. You can also experience the different type of eras of art, which the writer Deborah Vankin mentions in the article. If you just happen to be in California on May 6th, go to Chinatown and check the exhibit out!
